This week we hosted matches against Swinton and Northenden winning them 4-2 and 3-1 respectively - well done again everyone

Our winning run has continued with wins over Chorlton and Stockport. Tonight we travel to Swinton to try and keep the run going - good luck everyone

Our latest ladder competition finished last night where in a close finish Walter edged out Ved, Ben and Will. Many congratulations to all as some great chess was played. The results have gone off for grading today.

This week we host Chorlton hoping to extend our winning run - the club will remain open until 10pm for extra chess.

On Sunday we hosted the EJCOA Greater Manchester Zonal - some great chess was played. Good luck at the finals in Nottingham to those that qualified.

Our run continued last night against Bolton stretching to 16 in a row - next week we have a very tough match against Chorlton in the Stockport League - good luck everyone!

Tonight we entertain Northenden hoping to continue our winning run to 14 matches in a row - good luck everyone
